Estonian dream pop outfit mariin k. are carving out their own space in the shoegaze revival, led by Mariin Kallikorm's vision of yearning soundscapes wrapped in cascading reverb. Kallikorm brings serious credentials, having toured internationally since 2019 with trip-hop pioneer Tricky and as part of London-based indie project Wyldest.

Their debut album rose skin, released in May 2025 via acclaimed indie label Seksound, earned a coveted spot on Seattle's influential KEXP and praise from Darla Records as "a lush, introspective journey through shimmering guitars and ethereal textures." Singles "beach" and "free alice" have charted on Estonian national radio whilst gaining support from U.S. shoegaze station DKFM.

What sets mariin k. apart is their commitment to strong songwriting within the genre's atmospheric framework. Kallikorm and guitarist Paul Sild achieve a compelling balance, synchronising tremolo-drenched dream pop with jangle pop's melodic clarity. The result is music that explores love, self-discovery, and vulnerability with both ethereal beauty and emotional substance.

mariin k. has performed at international events such as Supersonic Block Party (France), Live at Heart (Sweden), Reeperbahn (Germany), and Ireland Music Week (Ireland). In autumn 2025, she also completed a successful UK tour as support for Night Tapes.
