A young Estonian jazz pianist Mikk Kaasik captivates audiences with his dynamic performances. Music has been integral to his life since childhood, beginning with classical piano and singing at age seven, before discovering his passion for jazz piano at 17 under the guidance of Jürmo Eespere. His 2024 debut album Take One showcases an energetic blend of jazz, fusion, and funk, capturing the vitality of emerging musicians. The album includes his award-winning composition "Rapid Resonance," which secured first place in the prestigious Uno Naissoo Composition Contest. Kaasik has established himself as a rising force in Estonia's jazz scene, gaining recognition through his vibrant musical style and dedicated approach.

Joining Mikk at Station Narva is Janno Trump, one of the most respected bassists of the younger generation in Estonia, primarily active as a jazz musician, but who has also played and recorded with a wide variety of pop and rock artists. He has written music for both smaller jazz ensembles and big bands, served as the artistic director of several large music projects, and is the leader of the JT Conception and Janno Trump Clarity Ensemble groups.
