SADU was born from a desire to create music that prioritises courage, honesty, and vulnerability — topics that resonate and sometimes sting.

At the heart of SADU are Sandra Sillamaa (vocals, whistles, jaw harp),  known from the power-folk trio Trad.Attack!, and a rising star Sofia-Liis Liiv (vocals, violin). Their voices blend with traditional instruments, bringing together old and new into a fresh soundscape. The music is created in collaboration with songwriter-producer Fredi (Frederik Küüts) on guitar and production, and Robert Leht on drums. 

The band took home Album of the Year, Band of the Year, and Debut Album of the Year at this Estonian Music Awards 2026 for their last year’s debut LP Probleemid paradiisis.
