Bus Excursion: "History in Stone: Narva Burial Grounds"

The history of every period finds its reflection or end in stone in one way or another: in the monoliths of architectural monuments, cobblestone pavements, and gravestones covered with moss and touched by eternity. Perhaps it is precisely the simultaneously quiet yet eloquent atmosphere of cemeteries that allows for complete and unprejudiced contemplation of bygone eras and the fate of their witnesses.

On this bus and walking excursion through Narva's burial sites, we offer participants the opportunity to experience history by visiting both well-maintained cemeteries and those gradually fading into oblivion from different historical periods.

The route begins at Peetri Square (opposite the Paul Keres memorial), where participants will be met by the bus.
