Narva Venice sunset tours

Sissepääs:
Päikeseloojangutuur Narva Veneetsiasse

The Kulgu area by the Narva Reservoir is often called "Narva Venice". It is far more than just a row of old boathouses.

On two Station Narva evenings at sunset, a guided bus tour will take you to explore both the authentic local garage-dacha culture and the Narva Venice Embassy – an artistic creative dacha established by Narva Art Residency on the grounds of Kreenholm factory's former pump station. A site-specific group exhibition organised by Finnish curators Anna Jensen and Eliisa Suvanto will be on show for the duration of Station Narva. You'll hear stories about the origins of the area, the lives of international artists who have stayed there, and their encounters with the local "Venetians". If you're lucky, you might even get a taste of something stronger!

Tours take place on Friday, 4 September and Saturday, 5 September at 6 PM. Meeting point: Peetri plats 5 (Narva Museum side of the square)

On Friday, an Estonian-language and an English-language group depart simultaneously. On Saturday, an Estonian-language and a Russian-language group depart simultaneously.

NB! Groups travel on separate buses – please board the correct bus.
